Ages 12 months to 23 months

We follow the NYC Department of Education School calendar and additionally run a 6-week summer program for July and August. Our teachers are highly qualified and are required by the Department of health to undergo intense screening, comprehensive training courses meeting the highest standards for your child’s first school experience.

This program runs Monday through Friday 7:00am – 4:30pm.  You can choose the schedule that best fits your needs.  We offer half-days, full-days, two days per week, up to five days per week.

As per the Department of Health Guidelines the Infant (under age one) child to teacher ratio is 4 students to 1 caregiver.  The toddler (1.0-2) ratio is 5 students to 1 caregiver.  We at High Hopes typically hold an average of a 3 to 1 ratio.  In addition, our classroom is designed with two distinct sections.  One side for under age one and the other side for over age one.  We chose this model as there will be more adults on hand creating a safer environment.   If your child is under one years old, they will be provided a crib for their use only. You will provide a sheet which will be sent home for laundering as needed.   Once they turn one, the Department of Health only permits the students to rest on mats for maximum safety.   For this age group you will provide everything your child needs for care.  This includes, food, diapers, wipes, and anything you feel they need for the day.    If you have any additional questions, please contact Jackie at [email protected] for more information.
